➡️ Step 1: Submit a Demo Permit along with the Arborist Report
Once the city or municipality looks at this, they will disconnect the sanitary and charge you about $750 varying dependent on where you live

➡️ Step 2: Getting an Asbestos Test Done if your house is built BEFORE 1990, costing about $750-$1200 again depending on where you live and which company you use

➡️ Step 3: Once you have the Asbestos Test Complete, you will want to contact someone who removes Asbestos and based on the result of the test. The company will give you a quote for the removal. Cost for removal is dependent on the amount of Asbestos the house may have.

Contact your Hydro company and your gas company, you can contact them earlier in the process.

➡️ Step 4: Tree Removal, according your Asbestos report you will know which trees need to be removed and you may require a permit to remove them.

➡️ Step 5: Hire an Excavation or Construction Company that will Demo the house for you. Before doing so, you will need a clearance letter from the Asbestos Company and give that to the city. Once all the above steps are completed the city will allow you to Demo the house!
